The region offers a stunning array of landscapes across its eight departments, where mountains, forests, plateaus, gorges, valleys, and plains coexist. It is framed by the Massif Central to the north and the Pyrenees to the south, along the Spanish border.

As you follow the rivers and streams through this region, you will discover places rich in history and cultural heritage. From the Causses du Lot, where you can taste Cahors wines and black truffles, to the gorges of the Aveyron river and the medieval villages like Saint Antonin Noble Val, Penne, and Bruniquel. The Tarn offers adventure with its gorges, Sidobre rocks, lakes, and Montagne Noire, as well as the city of Albi, home to the largest brick cathedral in the world.

The Garonne river passes through Toulouse, a vibrant city known for its red bricks, and flows through fruit valleys, offering scenic views along the Canal des deux mers and the road to Compostela, as well as historic sites like the Abbey of Moissac and Auvillar.

The Gers, with its gentle valleys, and the Pyrenees, offering both summer and winter adventures, complete this diverse and beautiful region. Occitanie is also renowned for its agricultural products and gourmet cuisine, blending tradition with creativity.

Los miembros de SERVAS Occitanie Ouest le dan la bienvenida a una región generosa, amigable y acogedora, donde la tradición de hospitalidad, autenticidad y solidaridad es muy arraigada. La región ofrece una gran variedad de paisajes, desde montañas y bosques hasta valles y llanuras, rodeada por el Macizo Central y los Pirineos.

A lo largo de sus ríos, se pueden descubrir lugares llenos de historia y cultura, como las Causses del Lot, la ciudad medieval de Rocamadour, las gargantas del Aveyron y el patrimonio de Albi, entre otros.
