We encourage you to visit Servas members during your stay in France. On servas.org, you will find nearly 850 Servas households across France ready to welcome you.

Servas France is structured into 16 Servas regions based on the administrative organisation of the country. To understand how we work, you can go directly to www.servas-france.org. 

But first of all, we can assume that many Servas delegates and observers will arrive in Paris, or in major cities such as Lyon, Lille, Marseille, Bordeaux, Strasbourg… before arriving in Dijon.

And they will probably leave France from a big city after SICOGA. Some of you will no doubt want to visit these famous cities. Did you know that distances between city centres and outskirts are short in France? What’s more, neighbouring towns are well served by public transport. We can only encourage you to contact hosts who live outside city centres and who will be all the more happy to welcome you as they wish to receive more visitors.

Getting away from the tourist centres is a good way to discover unexpected but magnificent places, and to ‘savour’ France in all its diversity. Why not travel slowly, like the emblematic Burgundy snail?
